Not So Happy Hour: Secret Service Agents Nab Pair During DC Dinner Near White House: Report

Date night did not go as it was drawn up for one couple in Washington, DC who were both taken into custody by members of the Secret Service during dinner, according to an NBC Washington report.

Diners at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak, and Stone Crab didn't know they were in for dinner and a show on Tuesday, Jan. 17, when agents reportedly burst into the restaurant with guns drawn and ordered everybody to "get down” as they apprehended the couple.

According to the report, a BMW the couple drove to the restaurant had been reported stolen with illegal tags, and the driver was found to be in possession of a handgun.

No other information about the couple, the arrest, or the stolen vehicle was released by investigators.
